Mary Woodin trained as a textile designer and later graduated from the Royal College of Art in London. She prefers to paint from life using watercolours and her paintings attract admiration for their liveliness and spontaneity.

Many of these cards have been painted on location in great musical arenas such as the Royal Festival Hall and The South Bank Centre and capture the real spirit of music making.
