Information about Bach C P : Trio Sonata in G Major WQ152 (Flute, Violin, Cello)
When Carl Philip Emanuel Bach (1714-1788) composed this tro sonata in Potsdam during the year 1754, he had already served 14 years as first chamber cembalo player for Frederick the Great. The second son of Johann Sebastian Bach - at the time more famous than his father - held this position as accompanist of the flute-playing king for 27 years, beginning with the accession to the throne by Frederick in 1740 until 1767, when he followed Georg Philip Telemann as director of church music in Hamburg.
